Botho is consciousness of the Unity of Being at the macrocosmic, mesocosmic and microcosmic dimensions. Botho can be summarized as; ‘All is One’, in a spirit of interdependent coexistence. Botho refers to ‘humanness’, the inner core or soul of an individual. Botho is transcircumstantial substance, source, beginning and end of all things and persons, that is, the root or first substance of creation. Botho is the timeless and unconditioned substance-energy which is the unitary source of Being.
Certain deductions can be made on the basis of the premise of unity of being; acknowledgement of the spiritual essence of self and others, character as highest value of a person or the quality of expression of their spiritual essence, perception of self and others as spirit, recognizing the interrelatedness of all things within the universe, and realizing that all comes from one Source. Botho is the ‘common ground’ from which diversity can be reconciled, reintegrated, and reunited.
