What is AfroSymbiocity?
AfroSymbiocity is the union of two concepts, that is, ‘Afro’ in relation to peoples of Sub-Saharan origin who generally share a ‘Symbiotic’ worldview characterized by Interdependence and Interconnectivity of all realms of Being – ecological, individual, communal, national, and trans-physical.
AfroSymbiocity is also coined from four Traditional African Basotho concepts, namely, Botho (goodwill and unity), Pula (understanding), Khotso (peace), and Nala (prosperity). In other words, without awareness of the unity of being there can be no goodwill, without goodwill there can be no peace, and without peace, there can be no prosperity.
